Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association
MISSION
- The mission of the Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association is to provide the means through which member churches cooperate and join together in spreading God’s Word and serving those in need.
- The Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association was organized in October 1959, when the Baptist churches of this area met at Poroporone Baptist Church in Shacklefords, Virginia.
- The Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association is comprised of 25 churches located in Gloucester, King and Queen, Mathews and Middlesex Counties on the Middle Peninsula of Virginia.
The Associational office is located at 884 Gloucester Road, Saluda, behind the Saluda Post Office.
The Office hours are Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. The phone and fax number for the office is 804-758-4385.
The MTBA staff presently consists of Dr. Robert May, Director of Missions, and Mrs. Sharon Bowman, Secretary.
